As the clock struck 10:00 AM, the doors of our co-op swung open, welcoming families to a day filled with discovery. Upon arrival, each family received a welcome pack with information for the semester. In this digital age, we embraced modern convenience with parents signing in using QR codes, streamlining the check-in process and ensuring that everyone was accounted for.
🎉 Get to Know Me Bingo 🎉
Laughter and excitement filled the air as participants engaged in our "Get to Know Me Bingo" icebreaker activity. The room buzzed with mingling and conversation as students worked to fill their bingo cards with signatures from others who matched the descriptions. It was a fantastic way to break the ice and kickstart meaningful connections among our co-op members.
📚 About FTC Co-op 📚
Kiah took the stage to provide an overview of FTC Co-op's mission, values, and our unique approach to education. Families learned about the heart of our co-op, nurturing an environment where learning is an exciting adventure. Logistics and essential information were covered, ensuring that everyone felt informed. Each teacher also had their moment in the spotlight, offering a glimpse into the engaging classes they would be teaching.
After the information portion, Ms. Tempie led a practice of our welcome chant and led the students in a gratitude game.
🤝 Gameschooling🤝
After a morning of information and introductions, it was time for some gameschooling and group mingling. Our co-op isn't just about academics; it's about building friendships and supporting one another on this educational journey. The snack table, adorned with delectable cupcakes and cookies, was a delightful treat thanks to the talents of Sugar n Spice Bakery, a remarkable mother/daughter duo. These sweet treats were not only delicious but also a reflection of the love and dedication within our community.
