Capital Campaign

Where Your Money Goes:

Your investment builds a culturally grounded, community-powered learning ecosystem that San Antonio families deserve. Every dollar raised through this campaign has a specific purpose. Here's exactly how we're putting your investment to work for our children and community.

01. Space

Room to Grow

Our community has outgrown our current classrooms. We need to rent additional rooms at our current location. Expanded classroom space is the foundation everything else depends on.

  • Additional classroom rental for co-op days

  • Additional microschool learning room

  • Podcasting & media production coach

  • Support for returning parent-educators

03. Tools

Equipment & Materials

Great learning requires great tools. We're building out three new program areas with everything students need to create and discover.

  • Robotics kits and STEM lab supplies

  • Microphones, mixers & recording software

  • Spanish curriculum books and resources

  • Classroom consumables and art supplies

For the Future

In 2022, a 3 moms looked around San Antonio's homeschool community and couldn't find what their children needed, a space rooted in culture, rich in community, and built with Black and Brown families in mind. So they built it themselves. What started as four families around a table is now a thriving 501(c)(3) serving 30 co-op families and over 150 in our activity group. For The Culture is proof that when our community decides something needs to exist, we make it happen.

Meeting Families Where They are

Three programs. One mission. The Wednesday Co-op builds community through hands-on, culturally centered enrichment classes. The Microschool offers students a rigorous small-group academic experience where their identity is an asset, not an afterthought. And our Activity Group keeps families connected through field trips, meetups, and experiences across San Antonio. When you support For The Culture, you're funding all of it, every lesson, every field trip, every moment a child walks into a room and finally feels like they belong.

Choose Your Level of Support:

No gift is too small. Every contribution moves us closer to our goal.

It takes a village to fund a village. Join Us.

Every week, new families finds us. Parents who has spent years watching the school system fail their child, academically, culturally, emotionally. They search, they ask around, and eventually they find For The Culture.

Families are leaving traditional schools in growing numbers, and they are coming to us because what we offer doesn't exist anywhere else in San Antonio. A community that sees their child. A curriculum that reflects their history. A place that was built specifically for them.

This fall, we have a chance to say yes to more of those families. But that means more space, more instructors, and more resources, right now, before the semester starts.

This campaign is how we meet this moment. Every dollar is a door we can open for a family that has been searching for exactly what we've built.

The families are ready. The need is growing. Help us keep up.

Closing Gaps. Opening Doors.

Traditional schools often fail to reflect the identities or meet the needs of BIPOC and neurodivergent students. Homeschooling offers an alternative, but families are often left without resources or community. We close those gaps with culturally relevant programming, creative spaces, and support, opening doors to possibility, opportunity, and lifelong learning.
"This group has provided community that helped my family feel more confident and less alone. We have seen what is possible for our children. It's provided insight, information, and connections that we can move forward into our journey with."
"For the Culture has given us the community I didn’t know we needed. I took a chance on going to an event and I was immediately hooked and wanted more. My children are thriving!"
"The opportunities provided through FTC are incredible. From enrichment classes and field trips to public speaking experiences and social events, my kids have access to so much more than the traditional narrative of homeschooling suggests."
