For the Culture Education Cooperative is a secular homeschooling group based in San Antonio, Texas. We have made it our mission to not only provide a nurturing and enlightening environment for our children to flourish, but also to reshape the narrative around Black homeschooling. Through our educational classes, meetups, and active presence on social media platforms, we are determined to encourage and inspire other like-minded individuals across the nation.

Quality Education and Community Building:
Our classes are held at various venues across San Antonio such as homes, libraries, parks, and local businesses and taught by parent volunteers or invited guest speakers. We aim to craft engaging, educational meetups for children that cater to their specific needs and interests and social events that create a nurturing community for them to grow within.
Our meetups serve as opportunities for parents and children alike to connect with other families who share similar educational goals. These gatherings not only create lasting friendships but also offer valuable insights into best practices for homeschooling Black children.
Increasing Visibility Through Social Media:
One of the driving forces behind For the Culture Education Cooperative is the desire to increase visibility for Black homeschoolers on social media, breaking stereotypes and showcasing the achievements of Black homeschoolers across different educational fields. Our focus on representation is vital in creating more opportunities for Black homeschoolers to feel empowered and supported in their educational journeys.
Encouraging Formation of Cottage and Activity Groups:
For the Culture Education Cooperative encourages other groups across America to form their own cottage and activity groups within their communities. We hope that sharing our story will motivate people from different communities and backgrounds to organize their own homeschool groups.
