About
For the Culture has been given an exclusive invitation to a special Master Class hosted by the Honolulu Theatre for Youth on Thursday, March 27, at 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM at the Little Carver. The following day, Friday, March 28, we will also attend their matinee performance.
This unique intergenerational experience is open to 25 participants (both youth and adults) and offers an exciting opportunity to learn more about the world of storytelling, culture, and movement.
During the Master Class, participants will: Learn about the cultural foundation and creative process behind HTY’s original performances
Explore basic hula and body movements to understand how gestures set to music can tell a story
Engage in interactive theatre games and immersive activities that bring storytelling to life
This is an amazing chance to experience theatre, movement, and cultural storytelling in an engaging and hands-on way. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity! After the class, we will be asked to fill out a survey that helps Honolulu Theatre maintain their funding.
Spots are limited—sign up now to be part of this special experience!
