iFLY Indoor Skydiving STEM Program

Get ready for an exhilarating, hands-on STEM adventure at iFLY! Students will dive into the physics of flight, engineering, and mathematics while experiencing the thrill of indoor skydiving. This immersive field trip brings STEM concepts to life with interactive experiments, real-world applications, and one-on-one flight experiences.

Program Highlights:

Interactive STEM Presentation – Explore the science behind indoor skydiving and aerodynamics. Physics Demonstrations – See real-time airflow effects in the vertical wind tunnel. Hands-on Lab Activity – Build parachutes and investigate how different canopy shapes (with the same area) affect flight performance. Data Collection & Analysis – Measure, record, and interpret flight results. One-on-One Flying Experience – Each student will take two flights with a certified iFLY instructor!

Cost & Group Discount:

The typical cost for this experience is $100 + tax per person, but our group discount brings it to just $55 per participant!

What to Wear:

✔️ Well-fitting lace-up sneakers or running shoes (other shoes are not suitable). ✔️ Comfortable casual clothes – pants and a collarless shirt work best. ✔️ Long hair should be braided and in a low bun to prevent tangling in the wind tunnel. ✔️ No need to change – you’ll wear a flight suit over your clothes.
