About

San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) and Musical Bridges Around the World invite learners of all ages to the historic Carver Community Cultural Center for a very special performance in the Carver Youth Matinee Series.

This film is an educational documentary that explores and celebrates the music genres born of and formed by African American history and culture, and reflects on how the past connects with the present, just like the layers of a quilt.
