Opera San Antonio shares this timeless, holiday classic written by composer and librettist Gian Carlo Menotti. Amahl and the Night Visitors is the heartwarming story of a young boy and his mother, who are visited by three kings on their journey to Bethlehem. Amahl's act of selflessness leads to a miracle that transforms his life. This opera is an inspirational tale of faith, kindness, and the power of generosity that captures the hope and wonder of the holiday season for all ages to enjoy.

Recommended for ages 3rd grade and up.

The Carver Center's Youth Matinee Series engages children, teachers, individuals and families in the performing arts by igniting imaginations and introducing students to the diverse cultures of our global community. These performances open doors to greater knowledge and understanding of our world and foster appreciation for the arts and learning. Matinees begin promptly at 11 a.m.
