📚 Event for Middle & High School Students! 📚
The Carver Community Cultural Center, in collaboration with the San Antonio Book Festival, is excited to invite middle and high school students to an exclusive Youth Matinee featuring Erin Entrada Kelly and Kwame Mbalia, the award-winning authors of the hilarious new YA romance, On Again, Awkward Again.
This special event gives students the unique opportunity to attend an author talk and Q&A, where Kelly and Mbalia will share insights into their creative process, the inspiration behind their book, and what it takes to write laugh-out-loud, relatable stories. Plus, all attending students will receive a signed copy of On Again, Awkward Again!
About the Book:When Pacy Mercado and Cecil Holloway lock eyes during their first week of freshman year, it’s anything but smooth sailing—think clumsiness, awkward encounters, and even a run-in with IBS. 😬 Despite their lack of game, their chemistry is undeniable. With a little help (and a lot of hilarious misadventures) from their friends, families, and fate, they discover that embracing their imperfections might just lead to the perfect love story.
✨ This event is exclusively for middle and high school students, offering them a chance to engage with two bestselling authors, gain valuable literary insights, and enjoy a fun and inspiring experience. Don’t miss it!
